Congratulations on winning a contest! Your next steps are simple, the award amount will be automatically credited to your account immediately after you have been selected as the winner. You can view your credit amount on the “My Account” page under the 'Transactions' section.
Requesting A Payout
On your “My Account Page”, click on the “Request Payment” button next to your current balance.
Once you click this button, you will be asked for your PayPal ID, which must be verified. Find out how to verify your account here. Currently, PayPal is the only payment method that we use to pay our winning contestants.
Before requesting payment, you must send us your W9 or W8-BEN form. You only need to send this form once. This can be sent to us using our chat bubble (located in the bottom right corner) or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
For your first payout, it will take 3-5 business days for funds to be deposited to your PayPal account.
When you request a payout, you must provide your PayPal email_id. We will transfer the payout amount to that PayPal account.
In order to protect the integrity of our platform, we require confirmation that your PayPal account is 'verified'. To verify your PayPal account you must log in, and confirm that your account status is 'verified'.
Fees Associated When Withdrawing Award
As a contest winner, you can withdraw money from your account at any time. We will process the withdrawal and deposit the money into your PayPal account within 2-3 business days. You are charged a transaction fees of 10% of the total balance being withdrawn. For example, if you win a contest for $100, a $10 administration fee will be applied (and $90 will be deposited into your PayPal). This administration fee covers the cost of our payment escrow as well as processing of payment transactions (initially from the contest holder and then to the winner).
What Is The Guarantee That I Will Be Paid?
Squadhelp guarantees that a the award amount will be distributed for every guaranteed contest (see exceptions below). Even for contests that are not guaranteed, we collect the payment from the Contest Holder in advance and escrow the payment until a winner is selected.
As soon as a winner is selected by the contest holder, the award amount is immediately transferred to the winner’s Squadhelp account.

A non-guaranteed contest can be cancelled at the request of Contest Holder. In that case no winner will be selected from the contest, and the Contest Holder will receive a refund of the contest reward as per our Refund Policy.
A guaranteed contest can be cancelled under the following circumstances:
- If it is determined by Squadhelp that the contest payment was incomplete, fraudulent, or not authorized by the original credit card holder.
- If the contest was created in a wrong category, and needs to be cancelled so it can be launched in the correct category.
- If the Contest Holder violated our Terms of Service.
If a contest payment is refunded due to any of the reasons above, the contest will be cancelled and the contest award amount will not be distributed.
