Your purchase of a name from Squadhelp Marketplace is subject to the following Terms & Conditions:
Included With Your Purchase
Transfer of Domain Name ownership to your account
(If offered) Logo Design, along with high-resolution source files
You are entitled to a refund for domains purchased with outright payment as long as all of the following conditions are met:
You contact us within 24 hours of purchase to request a refund.
We haven't yet initiated the domain transfer to you.
The domain purchase price is less than $5000
The refunds are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to cover the cost of our payment gateway as well as transaction processing.
If for any reason, SH is not able to transfer the domain to your ownership, you will be entitled to a full refund of your purchase amount, regardless of the purchase price. In this case, the 5% cancellation fee will not apply.
Important: You are not eligible for a refund after the domain transfer has been initiated to you, or after 24 hours of your domain purchase (whichever happens first).
If the Domain is purchased via Installment Plan (or Lease to own option), any installment payments already received are not refundable. However, you can request a cancellation of the future installment payments at any time.
Modifications To Logo Design
If you would like to make any revisions to the logo design provided with the name, we can offer those revisions for a small fee. You also have the option of launching a Logo Design contest on Squadhelp.com at a discounted price.
Buyers must submit Domain Transfer requests within 5 calendar days of purchasing the domain. If no transfer request is received for 5 calendar days, the domain will be moved to a Squadhelp Escrow account to ensure that the domain remains in full control of Squadhelp until a transfer is requested by the buyer. If a domain is moved to a Squadhelp Escrow account, it is possible that the domain may be subject to a 60-day Transfer lock (per ICANN) by the registrar. In that situation, the buyer will be able to receive the domain within the same registrar where the domain is currently registered.
In the event the buyer does not submit their domain transfer request within 60 days, Squadhelp will follow the Domain Transfer Timeline as we’re not able to hold the domains within our Escrow Account for more than a period of 60 days.
Domain Transfer Timeline:
Squadhelp encourages buyers to initiate the transfer immediately after completing their domain purchase. We can hold the domain for a maximum period of 60 days within our Escrow Account after the purchase. As a domain buyer, it is important to be aware of our Domain Transfer Timeline. Please review the following information:
Timeline: Upon purchase, you have a maximum of 60 days to complete the domain transfer process (initiate and finalize the transfer to your preferred registrar).
Failure to complete the transfer to your preferred registrar within the 60-day timeline may result in the loss of your rights to the domain name.
Once the 60-day timeline has expired, the domain name may no longer be available for transfer as we cannot hold these domains within our Squadhelp Escrow account after this time period.
Squadhelp sends multiple emails to notify you within the 60-day time period to initiate the transfer. We strongly recommend you proceed with the necessary steps to finalize the domain transfer as soon as you purchase your domain. This will ensure that you retain ownership and control of the domain name.
If you require any assistance or have inquiries regarding the Domain Transfer Timeline policy, please don't hesitate to contact our dedicated support team.
Frequently Asked Questions
I like multiple names in the Marketplace. How can I test them?
You can take advantage of our Audience Testing Service to test up to 6 names (you can also test your own names) and receive $100 off the cost of the audience test after purchasing your name.
Does the name come with Trademark or Business Registration?
The names on Squadhelp Marketplace do not include trademarks or business registration, as that is not possible. In order to apply for a trademark or business registration, you are required to specify the business in details including: location, type/industry, name of Director(s), and what services the company/product will provide. Since our names can be purchased by anyone for any use, it would not be possible for us to file a trademark in advance.
We recommend that you do some research and/or seek legal advice to ensure that the name you are interested in does not have direct Trademark conflicts by a competitor in your industry and within your region. If there is no direct conflict, or the existing trademark is unrelated to how you plan to use it, then you have a good chance of being able to trademark the name yourself. If there is an existing trademark, keep in mind that, as long as your business is in a different industry, you may still be able to file a trademark for the name.
We also offer a Trademark validation & Filing service which includes upfront Trademark validation and filing the Trademark application on your behalf by a licensed Trademark Attorney.
