You can now add custom settings for your White label Marketplace to improve the search rankings.

Go to Standard Listings from your account and click on SEO Settings.

On this page you can choose Page Title and Meta Description for your home page, search page as well as all your landing pages.

These changes can be done globally for your entire catalog.

In case of Landing pages, you also have the ability to add dynamic placeholders such as {{domain_name}}, {{selling_price}}, {{possible_uses}}, {{description}}, {{primary_category}}

These dynamic placeholders will be automatically replaced for each landing page. This way, all your landing page will have rich SEO friendly titles as well as meta descriptions.

Tips for Page Title

  • Keep titles about 55-60 characters long.

  • Use target keywords in titles.

  • Describe your page content in the best possible way.

  • Use words like HOW, WHY, WHAT, and WHERE - help people understand what they will find on the page.

Tips for Meta Description

Google gives room for about a 1-2 sentence (160-character) summary below every search result. So, in one to two sentences, your descriptions should offer a compelling reason to visit the webpage. Add a clear call to action, address an emotional pain point, or offer a specific benefit to visitors.

  • If it is too long, it won’t fit, Google will truncate it, and people will not understand what your site can provide.

  • If it is too vague, people just won’t care. There are always other results to click on.

You should aim to connect with a searcher’s emotion in two sentences or less.
